Valencia is Circulate Capital’s Senior Investment Manager for Southeast Asia. She drives Circulate Capital’s investment activities in Southeast Asia and dedicates most of her time conducting pipeline development, portfolio support, and stakeholder engagements in the plastic recycling and waste management sector.
Valencia has spent more than five years of her career in Indonesia’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. Prior to Circulate Capital, she co-managed the operation of Indonesia’s largest angel network, where she primarily facilitated angel investment deals and provided investment assistance to early-stage companies.
Following her passion for social entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment, Valencia has conducted some advisory/consulting works for local social enterprises and development agencies, including UNDP and OXFAM.
Valencia has also co-written two reports on social entrepreneurship and women’s entrepreneurship in Indonesia. In her personal time, Valencia occasionally mentors aspiring and young local entrepreneurs in the region.
