Lucro

Established in 2012, Lucro is a fully integrated recycling company that collects and transforms post-consumer plastic waste into high-quality recycled materials and packaging products. Its flexible packaging portfolio includes shrink and stretch wraps, polybags, mailer bags and other applications containing up to 100% post-consumer recycled content.

Since Circulate Capital’s initial investment in 2020, Lucro has increased its capacity by more than tenfold. In February 2021, Lucro and our investor Dow entered into a memorandum of understanding to co-develop a post-consumer recycled polyethylene film solution. Read more about this partnership.

Today, the company has an annual recycling capacity of more than 30,000 tonnes and collects over 50,000 tonnes of post-consumer plastic waste annually, supporting more than 200 brands in transitioning from virgin plastic to recycled alternatives.
