Operational since 2018 and strategically located in Barranquilla with access to Colombia’s Caribbean region, Polyrec specializes in recycling flexible plastics including LDPE, PP and BOPP, reintegrating traditionally difficult-to-recycle materials into the supply chain.

With Circulate Capital’s funding, Polyrec is strengthening its operations and working to double its flexible-plastic processing capacity. The expansion is expected to help prevent 100,000 tonnes of plastic from leaking into the environment while supporting Colombia’s growing demand for recycled content under its evolving circular economy regulations.
