Janavi co-leads the firm’s investment strategy in South Asia. She is responsible for market landscaping, deal origination, investment execution and portfolio management.
Janavi has over 17 years of experience spanning investment banking, entrepreneurship, and venture capital/private equity across multiple sectors. Prior to Circulate Capital, Janavi was a Partner at JSW Ventures, an early-stage technology-focused venture capital fund in India. Previously, she was an Investment Director at Aavishkaar Capital, one of India’s largest impact funds. In the early part of her career, Janavi worked at JPMorgan (Mumbai and London). Janavi is a recipient of the “Top Under 40 Alternative Investment Professionals in India 2021”.
Janavi received her MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Mumbai University. Janavi is based in India.
