Minh Pham has over a decade of experience delivering impactful projects on infrastructure investment and policy development across Asia.
At ALBA, she led the company’s flagship plastic recycling project in northern Vietnam — a significant initiative in the country’s circular economy transition. She also played a strategic role in expanding ALBA’s market presence to Thailand, Bangladesh, and other Asian countries.
Previously, she worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she was part of the pre-investment team, helping projects become investment-ready by addressing regulatory, market, and environmental-social barriers. Her work included plastic recycling in China and waste treatment projects in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Papua New Guinea. She gained in-depth exposure to climate finance tools, including green bonds, blue loans, and sustainability-linked financing — reinforcing how development goals can align with strong economic returns.
Her earlier role at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) saw her working across both the policy and investment-enabling arms of the organization. Notable achievements included supporting the adoption of biomass feed-in tariffs in Vietnam and enabling financing from the Asian Development Bank and private investors for solid waste and wastewater infrastructure.
Minh holds a Master’s degree in Responsible Management and Sustainable Economic Development from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Birmingham.
