Pinar leads Circulate Capital’s global innovation investment opportunities with a particular focus on plastics/petrochemical alternatives and circular business models. Pinar has experience in leading investments in bioeconomy and circularity, both in funds of various sizes (from USD 80m to USD 1b AUM) and start-ups at various stages (Preseed through Series B). Building on her focus on the bioeconomy, Pinar is exploring different modes of tech-driven innovation that will make a tangible impact on addressing climate change.
Before CC, Pinar spent over 7 years in management consulting. Prior to her role at Circulate Capital, she was a consultant at Bain & Company. She has worked with a diverse set of clients in the UK, in private equity, consumer goods and public sectors, helping them on topics across commercial due diligence, strategy development, sales growth and operational improvements.
Pinar holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.S. in Engineering Management Systems, as well as two minors in Economics and Art History, from Columbia University.
