As Chief Operations and Impact Officer, Ellen oversees impact, ESG, insights, systems, and people functions for Circulate Capital. As a member of the executive team, Ellen is responsible for operationalizing the firm’s strategic growth objectives and partnerships. She also acts as senior advisor to Circulate Capital’s mission-aligned non-profit partner, The Circulate Initiative.
Ellen has 25 years of experience in the impact and circular economy industries. Prior to joining Circulate Capital, Ellen held management positions at Closed Loop Partners and the international social impact strategy consulting firm FSG. Ellen has also been a lecturer in MBA programs at the University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford University, among other leading universities, and is a regular speaker and contributor on investing in the circular economy.
Ellen received her MBA from the Haas School at the University of California, Berkeley, and her bachelor’s degree from Yale University. Ellen is based in Singapore.
