Prior to joining Circulate Capital, Alessandra worked for an E.U. sustainability program aimed at promoting green initiatives towards a Net Zero 2030 agenda in the Americas region, including energy transition, plastic circularity, and reforestation. She was responsible for the program’s local operation and business strategy in Brazil, including identification and measurement of potential ESG opportunities, corporate sustainability due diligence on all production chains of approved projects, and constructed relationships with relevant local public and private stakeholders.

She also supported the operations of the Circular Plastic in the Americas program, led by the E.U., aimed at intensifying the dialogue and cooperation on innovative plastic solutions in Brazil and Colombia.

Alessandra holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from UNESP, in Brazil, a Bachelors degree in International Business from James Madison University, in the United States, and multiple post-graduate degrees in ESG &Sustainability, Carbon Markets, Marketing and Finance from business schools such as Fundação Getulio Vargas and Columbia University.
